New Summer Classes
Monday started the second Mini-mester at Auburn. Last mini-mester I took Bioethics and Technical Writing, a few non-major classes that I need to get out of the way. But Monday started my new classes, Boot camp and Lifespan in Human Development. I’m really excited for my boot camp class, my teacher is a graduate student in exercise science, but he seems to know a lot about training and I’m excited to see what we do in that class. I’m hoping it also helps me to get in the habit of A.M. workouts that I can keep up with after this class ends. My human development class is an elective class but it seems pretty interesting so far, my teacher is funny but I should learn a few things.
My workouts lately have consisted mostly of me running, I’ve been really enjoying my runs lately and been pushing myself to go farther and faster. I’m also trying to work on my laziness this summer. Summer just began and I’m already letting the lazy bug set in. However, I’m making an effort to keep up with blogs and readings and getting things done! It’s so hard to keep motivated in the summertime when all I want to do is sit outside, grill, drink beer and listen to good music..oh and sit by the pool..but I have to remember I can enjoy summer and still do the things that keep me on track. Anyways, I hope everyone is having a wonderful summer so far! Please feel free to share your summer motivation advice and stories with me!
